Common issues
The extension isn't showing up on YouTube
Make sure the extension is pinned and that you're on a video page (youtube.com/watch?v=…). Reload the tab once after install — Chrome injects the extension only on subsequent navigations.
I don't see any phrases
The video needs English subtitles (manual or auto-generated). Some music videos and very short clips have no subtitles available.
My recording isn't being scored
Allow microphone access for the YouTube tab when prompted. If you denied it, click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → Microphone → Allow, then reload.
Phoneme scoring is blurred
Phoneme-level scoring is a Premium feature. Free shows pitch + word accuracy locally and a blurred preview of phoneme breakdown.
Billing — cancel, refund, switch plans
Manage your subscription from the user menu inside the extension (Manage subscription). For refunds or plan changes that you can't do from the portal, send us a message below.
